Transfer Admission Requirements

• Transfer Units: At least 60 CSU-transferable semester units.
• General Education: Complete required communication, critical thinking, and mathematics coursework.
• GPA: Meet applicable CSU and Sonoma State admission requirements.
• Blended Program: Additional teacher preparation coursework and credential prerequisites apply.

Earn your Sonoma State University Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies through a hybrid degree completion program serving Mendocino and Lake County residents.

Admission Requirements

• Residency: Mendocino County or Lake County.
• Transfer Units: At least 60 transferable semester units; up to 70 may be applied toward the degree.
• Communication & Critical Thinking: Complete 9 units of required GE Category A coursework.
• Mathematics: Complete GE Area B4.
• Minimum GPA: 2.0 cumulative.
• University Admission: Be admitted to Sonoma State as a Liberal Studies-Ukiah major.
